You can light incense on this mini hotplate, but not on aluminium foil.
The RK 501 is also offered by us as a ‘censer charcoal lighter’ in the trade for church accessories. The charcoal is placed directly on the plate and - as soon as it glows - the incense is placed on top. Incense can be lit in this way.
However, it is NOT permitted to use aluminium foil on heating plates (mass cooking plates such as the RK 501 or glass ceramic surfaces). This can lead to severe overheating and pose a considerable safety risk. This will also invalidate any warranty claims.
