The CT 3400/E ceramic cooking plate can also be operated on a campsite. However, the extent to which this is possible depends on the ampere fuse protection of the campsite in question.
With a 10 ampere fuse (= max. 2300 W), it may not be possible to operate all heating circuits of the CT3400/E at the same time. In this case, it is possible to operate only the 2-circuit zone: inside 1000 W + outside 1200 W = 2200 W or 2-circuit inside 1000 W + small cooking zone 1200 W = 2200 W. With a 16 ampere fuse, however, all hotplates can be operated simultaneously to their full extent.
