CERAN® is extremely robust and cannot be damaged by dishes and food. However, the undersides of vessels (e.g. ceramic plates) often have unglazed, fired clay - this can cause scratches.
Also make sure that no hard or heavy objects fall onto the glass ceramic surface, otherwise cracks may occur.
