Our IM 12 ‘Kurt’ ice cream maker does not have a compressor (otherwise it would be larger and at a different price level), but is based on the principle of pre-freezing. The inner pot (‘freezer container’) is placed in a 4* freezer compartment with a minimum temperature of -18 °C and left to freeze for a few hours (preferably overnight). In order to always be ready for use, we recommend using 2 pots (available as accessory IB 05); this way you always have a cold freezer container to hand when you have a craving for ice cream.
