Steam pressure is not suitable for cooking pasta as a side dish. It makes them soggy very easily. Pasta is best cooked in bubbling water in an open pan (this is also possible in MeinHans - see below). However, pasta dishes such as one-pot pasta are ideal for multicookers and steam pressure.
Pasta in an open pot can be prepared using the MAN function or the sear function (temperature: 170° C). If water already hot is poured into the pot, heating up is also quicker.
