Yes, that works.
If you want to steam cook ‘normally’ (without the benefit of steam pressure), you can use the ‘Manual’ programme.
Important here:
Insert the rack and steaming tray
Fill the MeinHans with sufficient boiling water (approx. 1 litre)
Manual programme - set the temperature to 110 °C
Set the desired time
Cover with a normal pan lid. This should either have a small steam hole or be placed upside down on the pot so that the condensation runs back into the pot
Check from time to time that MeinHans is not running dry, i.e. top up with hot water if necessary.
