The two models of our popular one-hand operated vacuum sealers (VAC 285 and VAC 485) differ, in addition to the size of the appliance, in the following points:
The VAC 285 is capable of a suction speed of approx. 9 litres per minute, while the VAC 485 manages up to approx. 15 litres per minute. In contrast to the basic model VAC 285 (110 W), the larger VAC 485 has slightly more power (140 W) and makes a double sealed seam, while the VAC 285 has a single sealed seam (which is very stable and tight with a width of 2.5 mm). The VAC 485 also has an integrated compartment in which the film roll is stored.
