The VAC 155 vacuum sealer has a patented design in which the pump system is largely protected against the penetration of liquids by several design measures. (For example, the position of the suction opening, the internal pressure switch, etc.). )
This does not mean that the appliance does not suck liquids out of the vacuum bags. The very effective suction power of the appliance removes approx. 97 % of the air from a bag and naturally also sucks out all liquids.
To vacuum seal liquid foods, we recommend using our special vacuum containers or we are happy to advise you to freeze the portion beforehand (using goulash as an example) and only then vacuum seal the portion (without the freezer container) in a bag. The goulash in the bag can then be reheated in a hot water bath if necessary.
