The appliance is designed so that liquid sucked in cannot run into the pump. A T-piece, which is placed in front of the pump, transports the drawn-in liquid out of the appliance via the housing. Please allow the vacuum sealer to run empty approx. 3 times, i.e. vacuum an empty bag. The liquid should then have drained out completely and the vacuum sealer can be used again!
