With the OP 700 oil press, you can produce cold-pressed oil in organic quality that does not contain any undesirable additives. Of course, the quality of the raw material is important. You can't get fresher and more unadulterated cold-pressed oil than with self-pressing! It is definitely fresher (and therefore better) than an industrially produced and bottled oil from a health food shop.
The fresher the oil, the higher the content of healthy ingredients. These ingredients break down very quickly. The high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids also ensures that the oil spoils quickly. The fatty acids are oxidised by air/light, so it is crucial that cold-pressed oils are consumed as quickly as possible.
The advantage of having your own oil press is that you can produce small quantities of fresh, high-quality oil at any time, which can be consumed within a week.
Our OP 700 oil press works in a gentle cold pressing process and automatically maintains the necessary pressing temperatures.
Note: Cold pressing only applies if the pressed material remains within a temperature range of 30 °C - 38 °C - and the machine does this automatically. It switches off if it gets too warm.
