The materials used are naturally heat-conducting, which is why it is unavoidable that the housing also heats up when operating a freestanding oven. However, the temperatures in this area of our appliance - when used properly - are even below the prescribed maximum values.
In our operating instructions, we expressly point out that hot surfaces are created and that the user should therefore be careful when touching the appliance. The instructions also provide information on minimum distances to other objects and correct positioning (heat-resistant base, etc.).
