When setting manual timers, it is generally important to ensure that the rotary switch is first turned all the way to the right and then back to the desired time. So to speak you have to ‘wind up’ the clock completely so that it can run correctly and emit a correct signal tone. If you do not do this, the function may run incompletely for short periods of time.
