The recipes in the instructions are all made with dry yeast, as our test bakers wanted to make the recipes as successful as possible and the handling of dry yeast seems easier for many novice bakers. However, fresh yeast can of course also be used instead, in the quantity of your choice.
It should also be noted:
- The recipes in the bread baking recipe booklet specify fresh yeast or dry yeast as an alternative
- In some of the recipes in the blog, WE are not the recipe developers, so we have adopted the recipes as we received them.
As a general rule: whether you use fresh yeast or dry yeast is up to you
We see our recipes as suggestions. After all, especially with a bread maker - after a short familiarisation phase - you can let your imagination run wild with the ingredients. Bread made according to your own recipe is ultimately the best.
