The OP 700 oil press is only suitable for kernels, seeds, nuts and other dry, oily raw materials (sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, linseed, almonds, chia, hemp, nuts, etc.). This oil press is NOT suitable for pressing soft or juicy fruits such as olives or soya. It is also not suitable for producing essential oils (e.g. from mint, citrus, etc.).
As a general rule, if the oil content of the pressed material is less than 10%, pressing will not be successful. The higher the oil content, the better.
