The appliance switches off because no seed slips into the auger and the automatic switch-off function kicks in to prevent overheating. Please check whether there is enough ground material in the ingredient container. If you have filled in enough seeds and the appliance still switches off, please check whether the ground material is too large (then grind to peanut/hazelnut size) or possibly too moist and therefore does not slide into the auger. If your seeds are too moist, pre-dry them in the oven at approx. 60 °C (fan-assisted) to 80 °C (top and bottom heat) or in a dehydrator for a few hours.
