Yes, the EGK 200 can grind all kinds of ingredients (including almonds and poppy seeds) very finely. However, as you can see in the blog post “almond butter”, the oil leaks out of products containing oil, resulting in an oily paste.
Almond flour, on the other hand, is a by-product of oil extraction. When the nuts are pressed and the oil is removed, the remaining nut pulp is as fine as flour. And this is then called almond flour (or walnut flour etc.).
