The special ‘Herbal Extract’ programme can be used to produce herbal extracts (macerates and glycerites) for natural cosmetics, but also massage oils or spice oils for the kitchen.
Herbs are NOT processed into oil, but - roughly speaking - herbs are placed in oil and ‘extracted’ at a certain temperature so that the active ingredients of the herbs are transferred to the oil.
