The plates of the appliance are coated and very easy to clean. The salts used for cleaning in the dishwasher will permanently damage the excellent non-stick coating. We therefore recommend cleaning by hand. The easiest way to clean the appliance after each use is to wipe the housing and the plates clean with a damp cloth with a little washing-up liquid and dry thoroughly.
