For the pasta machine to function correctly, it is important to fill the water tank before selecting a programme and to tare the scale correctly. Delayed filling or incorrect taring will cause the machine to switch to standby mode and not add any water.
To avoid problems, all steps should be carried out quickly:
Prepare the machine (install parts, fill the water tank, prepare ingredients).
Set the scales to 0 (press TARE).
Fill with flour, close the lid, select the Auto programme and start. Never tare again after adding flour!
The motor starts immediately, the water pump after about 5 seconds.
Wait until the pasta comes out.
Caution: With automatic programmes, only add additional water if the appliance runs into overload at least 3 times and then does not dispense any dough. The dough should always be crumbly, not lumpy, i.e. much drier than ‘handmade’ dough.
