When the portafilter is in the holder, there is no contact with the sensor plate of the scale. Manual operation is available for grinding directly into the portafilter. As soon as the desired quantity is reached, the appliance can be switched off.
The amount of powder can also be controlled to the second via the duration of the grinding process.
