All components of the EKM 300 that come into direct contact with food are tested and approved by an independent test centre in accordance with the German Food and Feed Code (which also includes tests for plasticisers such as bisphenol A) and RoHS (EU directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment), and are therefore safe.
