The universal lid is just as easy to use as all other vacuum containers. Place the lid on a suitable container in which you want to vacuum pack your food. It is important that both the lid and the rim of the container are clean and dry. Now turn the valve in the centre of the lid to the ‘VACUUM’ position and start the vacuuming process as usual. You will find detailed instructions in the operating instructions for your vacuum sealer. Once the vacuuming process is complete, turn the valve to the ‘CLOSED’ setting and remove the vacuum hose. You have now successfully vacuum-sealed your food. If you want to open the container again, simply turn the valve to the ‘OPEN’ setting. Air flows into the container and the lid can be lifted off.
