You can use these lids to vacuum seal your food in any sturdy, shatterproof containers (e.g. preserving jars and jam jars). The diameter of these containers may be a maximum of 10 or 12.5 cm and a minimum of 3.5 cm. The jars do not have to be round as long as the entire rim of the jar is within the grey ‘sealing zone’ of the lid.
